FISH4Kids
Summer Lunch Program
& Backpack Buddies
People are shocked to hear that 1 out of 5 children in Walton County are at risk of going to bed hungry.

This year is the 20th Anniversary of FISH4Kids, a mission created to bless the children of Walton County! A significant challenge we continue to address is the lack of access to nutritious food for many children in Walton County. With rising costs, including food prices, many families are struggling financially. For many children, school meals are their primary source of nutrition, making the summer break a time of food insecurity.

FISH4Kids works to ensure that no child in Walton County goes hungry during the summer. Sponsoring a child for the summer is just $75, covering 50 sack lunches and a hygiene kit.

We would love for you to support FISH4Kids, a program that will touch the lives of these precious children and prayerfully help them to have a brighter future. We are thankful for this wonderful community and know we can make a big difference together- because these dear children are worth it!

FISH4Kids is supported by individuals, churches, local businesses, and fundraisers like the Ed Reinagel Memorial Golf Tournament each year. Through the years FISH4Kids has made and delivered more than 3 million sack lunches!

Each summer, FISH4Kids provides lunch to 2,000 children, delivering a total of 12,000 lunches weekly. Volunteers prepare and deliver two lunches per child on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, ensuring each child has meals for six days a week. These meals are distributed in neighborhoods across Walton County, where 90% or more of the children qualify for free or reduced-cost school meals. The lunches provide nourishment and show the children that someone cares!
