FISH EMERGENCY VOLUNTEERS
Dear Friends of FISH,
We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our community during this
As we organize the FISH Emergency Volunteer programs, and as the situation continues to develop, we appreciate your patience. We are getting council and direction from the medical community, and with their help we have established some guidelines to ensure that our staff, volunteers, clients, and the children have a reduced risk of exposure to the virus. These guidelines are only in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will return to our regular FISH Volunteer programs once the pandemic is past.
Please review the following if you are interested in volunteering:
FISH4Kids needs 20 volunteers each day, 10 in each room, so that we can maintain social distancing while making the lunches.
We need drivers to deliver the lunches on the routes each day. We also need drivers to deliver lunches and emergency food boxes not on the regular routes.
The FISH Food Pantry needs 3 volunteers for each of 2 shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday to prepare food boxes for families in need.
We ask that volunteers be between the ages of 15 and 59 to help protect our most vulnerable population. (Drivers are not subject to the age suggestion if they wish to volunteer.)
If you or anyone in your family are showing any signs of illness, we ask that you not come to volunteer.
We have created a sign-up page so that you can see which days/shifts need volunteers. If a day is full please check back regularly in case openings occur! Click the sign-up buttons below to let us know when and where you can volunteer!
Thank you, as always, for your service!
