The FISH4Kids feeding program was created out of
an awareness that many impoverished children only
get a nutritious meal at school during the lunch hour.
School teachers and counselors voiced their concerns
and FISH has heard.
Over the past couple of years we have supplied school
counselors with nutritious snacks to have on hand for
the children who begin the school day without breakfast.
Concerned about what the children do during the summer
months, the FISH4Kids program stepped up to meet the
need. The summer of 2006, FISH fed 1,200 children a day delivering over 43,000 lunches to impoverished communities. The summer of 2007 FISH fed 2,250 children a day delivering over 89,000 lunches to at-risk children throughout Walton County.
FISH4Kids needs your Change to help bring a change for the children of Walton County.
Please donate your change to support the FISH4Kids summer feeding program. Our goal is to raise $100,000. Seperate your coins into ziplock bags by quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. Bring your donation to the FISH Ministry located at 700 South Madison Avenue in Monroe. Your donation will help purchase food, hygiene items (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste)and school supplies.
Thanks for your support. Please spread the word.
